Free museum admission is granted to following categories provided requisite document is available:
 
1. Heroes of the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation and holders of the Order of Glory of all degrees;
2.  members of large families (with three and more children under 18 years of age);
3. students of higher education institutions of the Russian Federation;
4. youth groups staying at health and leisure centers;
5. persons under 18 years of age – the third Thursday of each month;
6. invalids of WWII and participants of military operations on the territories of other states;
7. veterans of WWII; internationalist soldiers and participants in military operations;
8. holders of the medal “Defender of Leningrad” and/or the badge of distinction “Citizen of the Besieged Leningrad”;
9. prisoners under the age of 18 held in concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced confinement existing during WWII;
10. invalids of group I and II and a chaperone;
11. enlisted servicemen, cadets in their first and second year at military schools of secondary and higher education before they make a military service contract; persons attending secondary education establishments which have additional military training for minors (namely, students of Suvorov and Nakhimov military and naval schools, musical military schools, and cadet (naval cadet) schools).
12. children under 7 years of age (free admission applicable to a child only);
13. staff members (on a labor contract) of the museums of Ministry of Culture and Cinema, ICOM members (International Council of Museums), members of the Union of Museum employees of St Petersburg and Leningrad region, members of the Russian Union of Museums;
14. groups of people living in public social service institutions.
 
Free admission is granted within regular opening hours of the museums
 

Allowances (including free admission) are not granted for additional services provided by the museum except children under 7 years old
